Ooty

Udhagamandalam or Ooty, as it is popularly called, is the highest hill station in South India. Infact, it higher than cool Simla! The rampant commercialization is a bit depressing but does nothing to decrease its beauty.

The first one is a good photo. I didn't know Ooty is 500 ft higher than Simla - Simla is at 7000 ft, but being closer to the Equator, Ooty doesn't get snowfall.
