Therapeutic Photography!

I have been snapping away with my recently acquired superzoom point and shoot and gradually realising the value of Photography. It teaches you to be patient, have manual dexterity, an eye to see the amazing in the seemingly mundane, the supernatural play of light and shadows and most of all it reveals you your own personality because after all you are your photographs! I remember a Simon & Garfunkel song: "Bookends": it goes on to say the value of photographs:
"...I have a photograph, Preserve your memories; They are all that's left you"
However, the act of photography itself is a journey of knowing not only your subjects but more importantly yourself and its almost therapeutic!
