Slow shutter photography is in a league of its own, particularly while catching a high speed motion in low light. The other day I was fortunate enough to witness a rather energetic if unsynchronised "break dance" in a lonely place at late night with only a high carbon footprint incandescent bulb to illuminate the antics. The results I got were unimpressive until I cropped the darkness out. Thanks to the bulb right above his head, the face of the dancer looks truly ghostly while the rest of the body is just a shadow.
